Covid-19 Notice & A word about the pandemic

I follow all NYC, CDC, and WHO guidelines regarding all sessions. I am fully vaccinated as are all of my clients!

On a more personal note, I had the virus in mid March of 2020.

It wasn’t fun, but I recovered quickly with no need to go to a hospital. I have tested positive for antibodies multiple times, felt ongoing ups and downs with energy & fatigue (which could also easily be a result of the longevity of the shut down), and I’ve gone up a full clothing size.

I am human. I am imperfect. I gain weight when I don’t want to sometimes. It’s tough on my psyche. Working in entertainment and fitness implies a certain aesthetic and I don’t always fit the mold.

However, I am still strong and still beautiful. Even on my darkest days, I can see past my insecurities to the reality that good health is not a specific appearance.

OH HEY THERE!

Why “&Pilates”?

it’s important that you hear it the way it is intended.

It’s a nod to my life as an actor here.

At the end of a monologue or exchange between characters in an audition/class or workshop setting you’ll often acknowledge the end of the piece with:

“aaand scene”

For my entire teaching career, I have brought each private Pilates session or class to a close with a standing roll up bringing the body to a long and aligned position while saying “aaand Pilates.”

It gives us all a sense of accomplishment and completion while slyly acknowledging the fact that at the root of my being, I am a ham.
